Easter Sunday

Hey blog world! Today was Easter Sunday! When I woke up this morning, I went Easter egg hunting! I found lots of chocolate!I was tip toeing around like a ninja trying not to wake anyone up while doing so! LOL! After I found all the eggs I ate a couple of the big ones. Then I looked out the window and noticed we got a couple cetimetres of snow. Luckily most of it slowly melted throughout the day. Then in the morning I arrived at the church at 9:45 a.m. to help out with the Easter egg hunt after church for the little kids! Then me and another person in my youth group, E, put numbers on paper bags (to hand out for the kids to collect Easter eggs in). Also the numbers were on it for a draw at the end of the hunt. Before the hunt started, everyone was gathering around seeming pretty excited! Then someone was taking pictures of everyone and then I jokingly said “No! Not the paparazzi!” LOL! Then that reminded me one of Lady Gaga’s songs – Paparazzi http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nIvBI2_hSY! Then when the Easter egg hunt started, all the kids really seemed to be enjoying it! After the egg hunt, was the draw. They called out numbers and whoever had the bag number they called out, won a prize. It was either a tiny game or some kind of special chocolate! The draw seemed to go on forever though! Half of the numbers they called out no one had that bag number!

When I got home, I ate a couple more pieces of chocolate! Then for dinner me, mom, nan, and pop (my dad couldn’t go because he was at work (out in the sea)), went out for dinner! Then later on we went for a drive.

ALSO! Easter Sunday is when God came back to life! Now his spirit is roaming throughout the Earth watching everyone! And that means YOU!

Have a good Easter everyone!

Good Friday

Hey blog world! Today is Good Friday!

What is Good Friday? Well let’s just say that’s when Jesus died for us. Why? To stop bad things. It wasn’t easy though. He was crucified. Jesus was beaten, whipped, forced to carry the heavy crucifix, and was nailed alive to the crucifix. He went through all that torture for 3 straight hours. A couple minutes before he died, he said “I’ll rise again in two days!”. On Easter Sunday, he came back to life, and now his spirit roams the Earth for all eternity!

At youth group (I’ll make a blog post on that sooner or later) Monday night, we watched a movie called “The Bible Collection”. It was long so we watched the second half of it. I didn’t know Jesus went through that much torture. Some man who resembled the devil told Jesus about how inncocent people were being tortured and/or executed, how wars don’t seem to be ending, and other terrible things that were happening. Then a couple days later, was when Jesus was being executed. I was still wearing my jacket so I put my hood up when it came to the disturbing parts. I also developed a fear of the devil.

God died for US! Everyone! He is with you. He created everyone for a reason. And like all of us, Jesus farted (something I learned at the other youth group I go to).

15 facts about me

Hey blog world! This blog post will be on 15 facts about me!

#1. For some reason I can’t stop having my hands up in a rabbit-like position. I’ve been doing that for at least 3 years now. Maybe longer. I don’t even realize I’m doing it 90% of the time.

#2. Unlike most 14 year old girls, I have VERY high self-esteem!

#3. I usually appear to be unaware of other’s feelings. It’s true. I actually find it hard to understand other’s feelings.

#5. My favorite band is AC DC. Not One Direction.

Report Cards

Hey blog world! Yesterday my school gave us our report cards! I did well! All except for language arts and science. I could use improvement on those two. Here were the marks (I’ll give out the letter not the percent):

Adolescence: A+

Technology: A

Music: A+

Language Arts: C+

Art: A+

Religious Education: A

Core French: B+

Social Studies: A

Mathematics: A

Physical Education: A+

Science: C+

83% average! Like I said, I did pretty well! It also looks like I need to work harder in language arts, science, and French (kinda). I also plan to aim for the Distinction List (75% or higher in ALL subjects) I know I can do it!
