Monsters Inc. Movie Review

Hey blog world! This is my very first blog post on reviewing movies that I’ve seen! First one is…..Monster Inc. (Inc. stands for Incorperated (I don’t know if I spelt that right))! I went to see it with L.M. today! She says this is the first movie she saw in theatres. I thought I never seen it before. But then a memory from grade 1 flashed back when we happened to be watching it and the first scene but I don’t think I was interested in it back then but I sure am now! Anyhow it’s about all these monsters who like scaring little kids and see which monster makes the top list of scaring the most kids in the night. After James (nicknamed Sully) (one of the monsters)  attempts to scare one certain kid, Boo,  happens to follow Sully back and is apparently considered a “monster” to all the other monsters when she goes into their land. After a while Sully and Mike  (another one of the monsters) actually begin to like her after a while and dress her up as one of the monsters so she won’t get noticed by other monsters. Especially since Boo is afraid of Randal  (another one of the monsters). Who Sully beat in the contest on who scares the most people. In fact! I’ve noticed something about Randall! He has the same personality as Randall Randall.jpg from Recess.

Well I don’t want to ruin the rest of the movie for those of you who want to see it!

If you saw it, what was your favorite part? Least favorite? Tell me in the comments!

Christmas Day!

Hey blog world! Merry Christmas! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I know I did! Did you forget that it was Jesus’ birthday? I didn’t! Christmas isn’t just about presents on Santa Claus! But remember Jesus too! Anyhow when I woke up this morning, I first woke up at 1:00 a.m. then I thought Santa wouldn’t be here yet! So I rolled back to sleep! Then at 4:00 a.m. and woke up AGAIN and I thought this is too early! Then I woke up at 6:00 a.m. then I thought just 10 more minutes but I ended up waking up at 7:45 a.m.! Then I couldn’t wait to see what was under the Christmas tree! Santa was really good to me! I got two Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, the Do-It-Yourself Book (which I will do a blog post on one of the sections later on today), and the new one, The Third Wheel! I also got a Where’s Waldo activity book! And I got a Guinness World Records 2013 book! And I got two puzzles one of them is an 1000 piece with a picture of a polar bear and a baby polar bear! And another is an 170 piece with a giraffe and a baby giraffe! I also got a One Direction fan book and calendar! I also got a stocking full of treats and things! Mom and dad also got me an iPod touch 5!

Later on me, mom, dad, nan, and pop went to my uncle’s and aunt’s house for a Christmas dinner! It was a turkey dinner! After supper it was time to open up gifts and I got a box of puzzles! There were 10 puzzles in a box with 300-700 pieces each! I absolutley LOVE puzzles! Now I have 12! I wonder which one I should do first! And then I got a snowman which chanted and cheered like a cheerleader about Christmas and such with a motion sensor whenever you walked by it! Later on it was time to go home and on the way home me, mom, dad, nan, and pop decided to take a drive around looking at lit up houses and went to drive downtown and up Signal Hill (there was a star on the hill!) and down Quidi Vidi Lake! I had an AWESOME Christmas!

Baking Christmas cookies!

Hey blog world! Today in our kitchen, me and mom were baking Christmas cookies! They were shortbread cookies and gingerbread cookies! Firstly, mom was resting so I thought I could attempt at baking the gingerbread cookies all by myself! Attempt succeeded! Mom then came out ten minutes later and started working on the shortbread cookies! I couldn’t help but take some of the dough while passing by! Later on when she wasn’t looking I took a (tiny) ball of dough that was on a plate! Don’t you guys tell her, ok? LOL! Anyhow after I finished rolling it in the dough, I started making shapes out of it! They were gingerbread men (of course!), teddy bears, snowflakes, Santa Claus (I still believe in him by the way), Christmas trees, and Santa’s boots! We didn’t have any white icing for the Santa cookie but dad found icing mix! When he was done stiring I thought santa’s thingy on top of his hat and his beard were gonna be beige ! LOL! But as I put it on Santa and a couple of the snowflake ones they turned white! I knew the gingerbread cookies were gonna turn out well (I have VERY high self-esteem don’t forget!)! And they did! My mom, dad, nan, and pop said they tasted great! And they did! So did the shortbread cookies that mom made herself! It was also tasty!

Did you bake anything for Christmas? If so, tell me which ones in the comments!

Great start to the first day of Christmas!

Hey blog world! Today is when Christmas vacation starts! It’s also the first day of winter! Now why is the first day of Christmas a great start? Well I’m gonna get to that now! Today, our school went to see “The Hobbit”  in theatres early today! It was a graet movie! Some scenes I almost fell asleep but other than that it was quite interesting! I didn’t get any popcorn or nothing because the line up was big and all that and my friend L.B. (I got two friend whose names both start with an L so I use their initials) was nice to share me her Maltesers (a type of candy) in the theatre! Everyone got back to school at 12:30 p.m. and it was time to go home! At around 3:00 me and mom (with the help of my dad!) were baking sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies! I couldn’t help but to take some cookie dough and eat it! It tastes so good! I took about three cookies when they were cooled off! They tasted great! Tomorrow we’ll be making gingerbread people! At 7:30 I watched Home Alone ! I used to watch it all the time when I was little! Not even caring that it was a Christmas movie! Now I watch at the right time – Christmas! It’s my favorite Christmas movie!

This year’s gonna be an awesome Christmas! I knows it!
